Ever since I was in elementary school and started taking drum lessons, the arts have been something I have always found enjoyment in. A passion for music turned into an interest in drama, and after participating in the school play, my curiosity brought me to dance. In grade 5 my teacher recommended that I try my luck applying for the Peel Regional Arts Program at Earnscliffe Senior Public School, and I managed to be one of the 100 people to get accepted out of 1000 applicants. During my time at Earnscliffe I got my hands on a sketchbook, and from that point on I started getting serious about art. A big source of my inspiration came from artists that I follow on social media, and constantly exposing myself to others' art inspired me to continue pursuing it and improving, as well as learn new mediums. I took visual arts all throughout high school along with other arts courses—such as media arts and film—in order to introduce myself to as many forms of art as possible. I am currently developing my skills as an artist with the goal being to continue my education in a post-secondary art program.
